There are two levels of Chi-Lel" Qigong certification offered. The requirements for certification are listed below.
A. Chi-Lel" Qigong Level One
(Lift Chi Up and Pour Chi Down Method and Three Centers Merged Standing Method, La Chi, and Wall Squatting)
- 18 days of Level One training
(14 days must be taught by either Frank or Luke Chan. )
- There are 8 gongs (100 days practice) to be completed before one is qualified to take the examination. The total practice time is about 350 hours. Gongs:
- Lift Chi Up and Pour Chi Down Method
- Three-Center Merged Standing Method (30 min)
- Wall Squatting 50 times (the degree of difficulty can be adjusted according to ones' physical condition, please let us know)
- 6-Direction La Chi (30 min)
- Hao La Hula (30 min)
- Push and Pull (15min front and 15 min sideways) (30 min)
- Hao La Fa Chi (20min)
- Read 3 Stories of 101 Miracles book
- Examination (to be held during a 6-day retreat after one has completed the 18 hours training):
- Part One, written test :
Chi-Lel theory including case studies of individuals in 101 Miracles of Natural Healing
- Part Two, practice test :
- Able to demonstrate and talk through the Lift Chi Up and Pour Chi Down Method; Three Center Merged; 6Directions La Chi and HaoLa Hula as if you were teaching a class.
- 30 minutes of Push and Pull .
- 50 wall squats.
- Demonstrate fa chi
- Good moral standards
- Continuing education: One 6-day retreat every two years
- Re-certification every two years
B. Chi-Lel" Qigong Level Two
(Body and Mind Method)
- Must be qualified for Chi-Lel" Qigong Level One to begin level Two instructor's training
- 18 days of Level Two training (Three 6-day retreats of Body and Mind Method training).14 days must be taught by either Frank or Luke Chan.
- There are 8 gongs (100 days each) to be completed before one is qualified to take the examination of Level Two. The total practice time is about 450 hours. Gongs:
- Body and Mind Method & Guild Along the Meridians Method (Tapping) combo (55min)
- Wall Squatting 100 times (the degree of difficulty can be adjusted according to ones' physical condition, please let us know)
- 6-Direction La Chi in squatting down position (30min)
- Bend body Arch back (30 min)
- Dragon's Head and Flexing Legs Combo (30 min).
- Claw hands (30 min)
- Open Front Kwa (30min)
- Chun Chi Method (30 min)
- Examination:
- Able to demonstrate and talk through the Body and Mind Method as if you were teaching a class.
- 30 minutes of Claw Hands
- 100 wall squats.
- 30 minutes Chun Chi.
- 30 minutes Open Front Kwa
- Continue education: One 6-day retreat every two years.
- Re-certification every two years
