Hearing LossPosted by Marian on October 01, 19100 at 16:15:41: In Reply to: hearing loss posted by Elizabeth on September 30, 19100 at 16:16:24: : Hello. My name is Elizabeth. I just started taking a Tai Chi class three weeks ago. I also have been receiving accupuncture for 2 1/2 years. I have a "genetic" progressive hearing loss that started 12 years ago. Six years ago it got so bad that I now wear a hearing aid but still have much difficulty communicating. The accupuncture I believe has helped slow the progression but I am still looking for something that I can do that may help even reverse it. I have been reading info. on ChiLel Qigong & am interested in trying this. Can anyone specifically suggest what tapes to start with and also a book that may be helpful. I don't think anyone in my area practices this method. I think I am going to sign up for a retreat also but in the meantime would like to get started. Also if anyone knows someone that may have a hearing loss that has benefited from this or any related info. I would appreciate it. The only person that posted anything that I could find was someone named Marian. Marian if you found out anything could you e-mail me ? Thanks Hello, Elizabeth, Have you seen the stories in Luke's 101 Miracles book (which I highly recommend buying). Dawn suggested to me getting in touch with I just began Chi Lel in May of this year. While I've had good results with balance and If you want to know more about Chi Lel tapes
