It is really good that you have reached a point where you could experience such a strong chi reaction. It is a very important step. I think it is natural for resistances to arise based on such an experience. Although "the you" in your body wants to change, sometimes the actual blocks are not so cooperative. They don't want to go through the pain of changing and so can resist, in moments of weakness (exhaustion) they can come to dictate what you do, thus the aversion to practice. The adivce I would give is similiar to what has been written. Find a duration of practice that is comfortable for the time being and use the tapes. The first point is to apply your better visualizations and practice to a consistent amount of time, if it can't be a full hour then do less but make it consistent.

The second point I think is most important for you. You do not have the benefit of a master watching over you and practicing with you every day.(In the beginning this may make it tougher; in the end it will only make you a stronger master over yourself) In this case a little bit of the master's will might be able to be used by you in your practice to help propel you. Since we are on this journey as part of a huge chi field but most likely physically alone, it is important to have as much help as possible. Although some have written recently about their preference for not using the tapes, in the beginning at least or when one is struggling to harness their chi the tapes become an essential tool for this process.

Why? The tapes allow a little bit of a higher will to enter your practice. Luke's voice is able to merge with your own mind and add to its force. I think we all underestimate the force necessary to make ourselves do these movements in such a precise way. One may feel like they are free without the tapes but in reality we are more succeptible to the voice of our blocks and resistances that can battle for control. This battle takes up energy and diverts our abiity to reach and enjoy the chi. In the beginning the tapes may seem harder, trying to match one's own will to Luke's on the tape, but it is really a gift for it adds force to our practice. It allows our mind in the process of merging with the force on the tape to better handle the private battles that ocurr in our body. So the tapes act to boost our strength in making our mind king/queen so the chi and body can follow. I think once one uses the tapes for a long enough time this becomes less necessary, as the power of our own will/mind increases, but in the meantime when our own mind falters, when our strength over the various factions in our body and emotional world come forth, the act of merging with the tapes keep us strong and able to continue.

So that is avery long answer but my point is try to get some help from a most valuable source, the audio tapes, committ yourself to that source for 100 days, and the path will be easier at the same time as the training will be more precise.

I hope this can be helpful
Much chi to you
Matt
