i understand your son's need!! Why don't you see if he can at least join you in this healing process (one doesn't have to practice chi lel to practice fa chi, though it sure helps!). also, be open to what the dog is communicating as well. you'd be surprised what you will receive!
and yes, just imagine the chi flowing over, into, around and filling you. breathe deeply and even chant the hao la. i believe sometimes animals become sick taking on the energy of the house (and, as well, can change it, of course)
By the way, congrats on your recovery, wow!! perhaps it is the dog's turn now.

: Hello, I just found out my eight year old dog has a tumor on his spleen. He's my son's best friend (the only thing my son let himself get attached to after his dad died) and he just has to stick around for at least four more years until my son finishes high school. (as if we have any control.) I'd like to do fa chi with him but I'm not sure how to do the imagery. I know I'm supposed to let the universe provide the chi, not me, and I need to be in the picture too so I don't lose my chi. Would I just imagine my dog and me sitting next to each other, the chi pouring into both of us? I get so confused on the visualization part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
