Wow, HyoChul, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! This is a very special one, because you made it through a very trying year. Perhaps your mom can read you some of the stories in the Miracles book of people that didn't get completely well right away. Several of them it took several tries. I remember on newsletter of a woman who didn't get better or show any improvement for five months!Keep believing: you have already seen what the ch'i can do with trust and effort.

I know how discouraging it can be when the disease apparently returns. this, too, is part of the healing. I love Gay's visualization, and I also look forward to seeing you at each stage of your journey to adulthood. Your whole body (and mind and spirit) are harmonized with chi!!!

: Sometimes when things look really good, we find we are still not there yet. Today HyoChul turns 8 years old - a miracle in itself. But he has no appetite and is obviously not feeling well. He had been so vibrant for a long time, but his last blood test showed that his liver enzymes were slightly elevated again. The doctors wanted him off the steroid because of side effects, but as it dropped, the graft versus host disease (where his brother's bone marrow rejects him) is creeping in again. This means he will probably have to increase the anti-rejection drug, but he is very sensative to it and tends to react if the dosage gets too high.
