: : : In the past few months (since July), I have had trouble with anxiety attacks, aggravated allergy symptoms and the onset of hypertension. Disappointed and aggravated with the traditional western medicine approach to these problems (i.e., takes lots of medicine!), I started attending a Falun Dafa class in my area. After learning some of the problems with that particular branch of Qigong, I finally found Chi lel Qigong and have began practicing it one week ago.

: : : I'm wondering if anyone reading this message board has had success with Qigong treating the three problems I have listed. Also, since my physician is anxious to prescribe medication for my blood pressure (currently at 150 over 90), I'm wondering how long I should allow to see if Chi lel eliminates the need for the medication.

: : : Can anyone help me?

: : Dear Art, I have had not personal experience in the problems you mention, but people that Luke interviewed at the center have. His book, 101 Miracles, tells of many success stories. I've had students whose blood pressure was lowered. I am convinced your other ailments can be helped. But I also suggest not trying to put a time limit on your practice as to how long it will take to heal. No one person heals in the same time frame, nor to the same degree. But I know this - you have chosen a journey that will lead to health and happiness. (I've been doing Chi Lel since '95, went to the center in CHina in '97, and am a certified instructor. Since you're new, I thought it might help to know this) Be patient, and believe. Chi is powerful and Chi Lel works! Much love and compassion, NancyCA

: Thank you, NancyCA! I have read some of the 101 Miracles success stories, but not those related to my ailments (I was so eager to begin the practice that I just skimmed the miracle section). I'll go back and take a better look at it.

Dear Art,
I have high blood pressure. I had my medication cut in half after starting Chi-Lel. I suggest you take your doctors advice and take the blood pressure meds now and then the meds can be lowered as you progress. As Frank says Chi-Lel is in conjunctions with your medical treatment. Never stop meds or treatment until you are cured. Chi-Lel works with the life style change you will need to change your blood pressure and treat your other alments. There is no simple answer or quick fix. If you read the healing stories you will find people working with their doctors and Chi-Lel to heal.
May loving Chi surround you.
