: The basic instruction is that one works with only one form at a time and to remember they are designed for the beginner to allow the energy to move in the most perfect path through the body. It is like a tarot card deck you never buy your own someone gives it to you as a gift and after years and years of practice when you have moved to a true understanding you get a blank deck and color and draw your own pictures but the form remains the same as it is handed down from time out of mind.
: If you do practice other forms let it be in its own time and separate from the chilel form that is what was suggested.

: : Does anyone know if it is okay to combine Chi lel with active Qigong forms?

Thanks, Jim. That makes sense. Actually, the wall squats are active, or "dynamic," Qigong anyway, aren't they?
