Yesterday I posted about my experience in China with spring leg, but this morning when i was practicing I realized that the wonderful thing about imagining Luke's six directions is that it creates a terrific qi field around us. After reading Christy's advice about sinking feet into earth, I realized that not just the horizontal directions are imporetant for this #9, but the other two as well. I found, then, even more power this morning. Slow learner, but, I'm grateful for this forum.

: I've been doing Body - Mind Method (Level II) for about a year and am still struggling with my balance on Spring leg - flex foot. I'm fine with my eyes open but when I close my eyes I usually lose my balance. It helps if I keep my chin tucked in, hips relaxed and visualize looking in the distance, like at a setting sun. Anyone have any sugestions that would help with balance? Any other exercises that would be good to do?

: Jim
