: Hi,
: I have a question. Sometimes I get sharp pains in my knees so bad I have to limp. I haven't had it for quite a while, but since I've been doing wall squats, it's come back. Mostly on the inside of my right knee. I don't know whether I should keep doing the wall squats and trust that the chi will heal my knees in the process, or stop because when I stop for a few days the pain goes away. I don't want to disable myself. I wonder if everything else I do with chilel is enough to attain good health, without doing the wall squats. What do you all think? Thank you so much for all the help and support I've received in the past. Mimi
Mimi: From the sounds of it I am guessing that you are using your legs too much in the wall squats. When you come up, the sensation is lioke being pulled up by a single strand of gold thread attached to your mingmem are and one attached to your bauiway(spelling wrong). If you are using your legs too much you get a very harsh burning sensation in the thighs AND lots of pain. The pains are usually in the thighs and knees and lower back, and yes, can cause you to limp for quite a while. Healing without wall squats is not only possible it happens. I do not like wall squats either and when I do them I only go down to the point where my form will braek if I go any further( a little over half way). This still opens the back very nicely. Not as good as all the way down but it still works. Review Greg's advise on wall squats if you have them and re-learn the entire process. Remember we are all still students and students must learn things.
With much healing chi
Larry
