How to Send Chi Over a Distance?

I frequently see requests for chi posted on the board. However, I am not sure how to send chi over a distance, especially to someone whom I have never seen and so can't visualize. Also, should the chi be sent apart from one's regular practice, or can it be incorporated into one's regular practice. I would like to send chi to others who request it, and any pointers on how to do this would be appreciated.
