A few basic thoughts and then let them go as you let your high awareness hold them and make it part of your whole practice. In LCUPCD it is 80 percent mind and 20 percent body so we imagine being connected to the blue sky as we release and we stay connected as we absorb and eventually we have awareness of every atom of our bodies and we move with complete atunement from the Mingmen and that is what drives all movement and release and absorbtion in 6 directions. For me a phrase that is helpful is that I release the mind beyond all the blue skies and the essence now moves and creates the movement needed. Each moment in time we have the ability to learn a whole order of magnitude of more awareness and there is an infinite number of oreders of awareness waiting. So enjoy the journey that will last a lifetime if you choose.

: : I just started practicing and I'm not sure what to be thinking. I have felt the chi when listening to the tape when Luke is repeating "open.... close". It is just there for me, like a ball of energy that I can rub my hands around. But, when I start to visualize or "try" to do anything... I lose it.... the feeling is gone. Does one have to picture the chi or intend the chi to go into the body? I find that if I just listen to Lukes voice the chi is there. If I "try" it's like I'm forcing and off it goes. If I don't intend the chi into my body... does it instinctively just know where to go? (does that sound wierd?). I have yet to really feel it when doing LCUPCD. What kind of feelings can one expect... and if you don't feel anything does that mean the chi is not present?

: Hi, You know, I have had the same experience. Just yesterday. When I hear Luke's voice and just stay focused on that, I can feel the chi very strongly. But as soon as I try to visualize the blue sky and my body, etc. the sensation goes away. It comes back off and on, but not as strongly. I do the visualization anyway though, because I think it's helping me. I'm just finishing my first 100 day gong this week and a very serious health condition that had is almost gone. So I'm not going to analyze too much, just trust that the chi knows what it's doing even if my mind doesn't! Mimi
